Music for Children

All Children Grades K-5th are welcome to come to Music as part of our Wednesday evening Children’s activities. The Children learn songs of scripture, songs about God, and songs of spiritual truths. They sing for worship and special programs throughout the year. They often prepare plays and musical programs at Christmas and in the spring.

Music for Youth

Youth musicians are invited to sing or play music as soloists or in ensembles in worship and for special events. Our Music Director is planning new opportunities for Youth Musicians, whether vocal or instrumental. Please contact the Music Director for more information.

Music for Adults

For adults, there are opportunities to sing in our Sanctuary Choir, to sing or play an instrument in our Worship Band, and to participate in both vocal and instrumental ensembles for special music throughout the year.

Sanctuary Choir - Wednesdays at 6:30pm

Sanctuary Choir meets in the Music Suite on the second floor of our church sanctuary building. They prepare music for worship and other events. They sing a variety of different styles of music and prepare and present cantatas and musicals for particular seasons and events during the year. This choir sings during the 8:30a.m. worship service on Sundays.

Worship Band-Wednesdays at 4:30pm

The Worship Band prepares music for the Contemporary Worship Service that meets at 10:45 am on Sundays and for other events. They meet in the HUB for rehearsals and services. The Worship Band welcomes new musicians of all skill levels who would like to sing or play an instrument in a contemporary worship setting.

Christmas Cantata-Wednesdays at 7:00pm

Join the Christmas Cantata Chorus of Azle FMC on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm for a fun fellowship of singing your favorite Christmas hymns and songs in a familiar but new fashion.  The Christmas Cantata is presented during worship on a Sunday in December.

If you don’t sing or play an instrument, there is still a place for you! You are welcome to assist with choir activities. You are also welcome to help with organizing music and helping with our musical productions. We welcome your prayers as we sing and play for God’s glory.

Music Missions

During the year, there are opportunities for musicians of all ages to play or sing music to share God’s love as an outreach to this community and beyond.
