Our Good Friday service this year consists of a sharing of a Psalm and a brief telling from the Gospel of John of Christ’s passion. This is a day in which we recognize Christ’s ultimate, loving sacrifice for each of us: His death on the cross.
“And he died for all, so that those who live might live no longer for themselves, but for him who died and was raised for them.” (2 Cor. 5:15). We end our service with a lament of reproaches for the state of the Church on Earth.
