Welcome! On this fifth Sunday of Lent, we consider Christ‘s anointing (John 12:1-8). Do we love Jesus? Do we let that love flow from us as a glorious expression? Love often defies logical thinking and worldly wisdom. True deep love often makes little ‘sense.’ It sings out in a crowded room. However, we often shy from expressions of love– too concerned about how it may look to simply love aloud. Judas was like that. He was so concerned with how it would look that expressing love ‘out loud’ was not a possibility. But Christ loves an embarrassing expression. He sees the heart of child-like joy and well-meant offerings. Have hope, come, and see!
