Welcome! We begin the most intense week in the Christian calendar. The glorious entrance of Christ mounting a donkey as a symbol of peace. Jesus is greeted with both joyous expectation by some, and curious or hostile wonder by others. We transition through the difficulty of suffering – the personal realization of what must happen and conclude with the reading of Luke’s account of Jesus’s procession to his place of execution and what unfolds there. Silence is the natural response to the pain witnessed in Christ’s crucifixion. Holy week has begun. Take the journey with us. Have hope, come, and see!
