Welcome! This fourth Sunday of Lent we consider Christ reclaiming us (Luke 15:1-3, 11b-32). How many things separate us from God? Some sins are obvious and easy to detail – the addiction, the abuse, the degradation, the violence... The subtler, easily overlooked sins can also steal life, sour temperament, poor judgment, and self-righteousness. Any time we focus on our desires, our wisdom, our opinions - ourselves – we are easy prey for sin. We need to learn to be prodigal parents and experience God’s complete pardon – a pardon that wipes away the past and completely restores our soul. Have hope, come, and see!
