Welcome! This second Sunday of Lent we consider What it is to grieve Jesus (Luke 13:31-35). Christ journeys through the passages of human life: from temptation to sorrow. Jesus decries the powers like ‘Jerusalem’ who ‘close the doors’ of the temple, restrict access to God, or silence the marginalized. He feels great sorrow from those who have chosen their own way at the expense of others. Jesus invites us into his love. He opens his arms and waits for us to fall into his embrace. Have hope, come, and see!
