This Sunday morning, Pastor Ray teaches from Mark 9:30-37 in a message “The Last Shall Be First.” The value system of the world will always prefer power and wealth, sex and property over love and community. As far as world is concerned, the faithful and honest always come up short. We’ll never have enough faith, do enough good works; have enough education or influence to be considered valuable. But we are righteous enough to stand in God’s sight. The greatest in the kingdom are not the rich and the powerful, the strong and independent -- the greatest in the kingdom are those who know their limitations and are willing to lean upon the everlasting arms of Almighty God.
