Pastor Ray teaches from Mark 10:35-45 at the 8:30 service in a message titled “Jesus, Do What We Ask.” People often take pride in their titles and status rather than being helpful. Armed with limited information, many are eager to present their ideas as the only correct answers. More often than not, their intention is not to be helpful, but to be seen as powerful and important. Instead of saying, “Jesus, Do What We Ask,” perhaps we should ask, “Jesus, What Must I Do?” Let the mind of Christ Jesus be in us.
